This article is for advanced users who wants to optimize MySpace MP3 Downloader downloading speed, memory and processor usage.
VASoftOnline MySpace MP3 Downloader is multithreaded software. It means that our tool can download multiple MySpace music files in parallel mode simultaneously. Each executed MySpace music downloading task is called thread; multithreading means multiple downloading tasks execution.
Generally multiple threads allows you to download music faster. It works because MySpace limit one file download speed to comparably low speed; however, it doesn't limit your speed if you download multiple songs. For example, if you can download one song with 512 kilobits per second speed, you can download 2 songs with 1 megabit per second speed. However, each thread needs additional processor time and memory. That is why we can not say that "as more threads we use as faster it works". Threads count must be optimized.
We use 5 threads by default. If you think that download speed is too low (your network connection doesn't work with full speed), and you see that your computer has enough free memory, as well as your processor is not overloaded, you can increase threads count. We allow you to use up to 10 threads.
And vice versa, if you see that your processor is overloaded or your computer haven't enough free memory, you can decrease threads count.
Calibrate your threads count to get the best speed / resources requirements proportion.
