What is MySpace Friend ID (or simply MySpace ID) and how to get it?

Each MySpace profile has unique integer number called MySpace Friend ID or simply MySpace ID. This number is different for all profiles, so it can be used to identify profile to MySpace when you send friend request, private message, etc. You have to know everyone's MySpace ID if you want to send him anything with MySpace Promoter. Usually you have not to enter MySpace ID manually to MySpace Promoter, you have to use MySpace Promoter search features to find recipients IDs by geographical location, lifestyle, etc. You have to know your recipient MySpace ID if and only if you want to add a concrete man as your messages recipient (for example, if you create your clients MySpace IDs manually).

There are a lot of ways to find MySpace ID for concrete profile. I will now describe one of the easiest ones.

  • Open MySpace profile which MySpace Friend ID you want to get..
  • Find View All Friends link on profile page (see image below).

All friends link

  • Open all friends page by clicking View All Friends link. Now you have to review browser address bar. It will contain a string like following one:

http://friends.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewfriends&friendID=465096048

The number located to the left of friendID string is this profile MySpace ID. In our example, MySpace ID is 465096048. See also image below for illustration.
